A Little Happiness in my Day.

To celebrate the simple things that bring me joy in life I have decided every Thursday I will share something that makes me happy.

This weeks happy is my cherry red Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer.

She (yes it's a she)brings me such joy to see her sitting in the corner of my kitchen, beckoning me to come make some tasty, buttery goodness.

Mmmmm.... buttery goodness.... Oh no now I'm drooling on the keyboard! I better stop before I do something silly like make cookies. Mmmmm Cooookiieees!

Our Neighbor

I would like to introduce you to our neighbor, George.

He 's quiet a hoot.

We often have long conversations on current events in the neighborhood. He travels a lot and so he always has long winded tales of all his adventures.

We do have a rule to never discuss politics or religion, which is a good rule to have with any neighbor. He has very strong feels on rodent's rights, so I try to avoid that topic all together.

He lives just down the driveway on the left in the palm tree.

"Hello there George!"

"How are you today?"

He's not much of a morning person.

From what I heard he was up far too late last night.

We'll check back with him later.
